When I first met Tawny & Mike during our consultation, my daughter was only a couple months old. Being a first time mom, I immediately missed little Siena and couldn’t wait to get back to her. But conversations with Tawny & Mike were so easy and genuine, almost 2 hours had flown by before I realized there was a little bebe needing mummy’s attention at home. Somehow during that time, Tawny has convinced me that I want/need to have FOUR children (just as she and Mike want for themselves.) I went home and jokingly said this to hubby, thinking the would flip out but instead he said “ok!” I’m pretty sure I almost fainted and the joke was on me!
Tawny & Mike had their hearts set on a spring almond orchard engagement shoot and I’m so glad we made it happen. These beautiful blooms come by only a couple of weeks each year and they are fleetingly difficult to catch. We pretty much refreshed our weather apps every few hours the week leading to this and miraculously dodged the rain on the day of. When I sent them the finished gallery, they were so eager to see the photos but waited until they got home from work to look at them together. How incredibly sweet is that? Tawny & Mike, I know there will be an abundance of love and laughter on your wedding day and I cannot wait to capture it for you. <3
