I took these portraits for Thanh right before her HS graduation, a little too late to include them in her yearbook (but hope she’ll enjoy them nonetheless). I’ve known this baby girl for a couple of years and she is truly a gem! I have never in my life met anyone her age who is as mature, smart, talented, and responsible as she is! Thanh is leaving sunny SoCal to snowy Boston for college next month, and I can’t wait to hear about all her successes in the future. Go get ’em, kiddo! 😉

We chose Orcutt Ranch in West Hills to shoot some portraits cuz it’s my old hood (the Valley will always be home!!!) Orcutt Ranch is so serene and beautiful—it’s a perfect venue for an outdoor wedding. On our way there, Thanh and I passed a gorgeous bougainvillea wall and had to do a double take followed by a quick U-turn to capture these vibrant colors. Le sighhh…
