My husband and I love to travel and we try to get away a few times a year. We’ve talked about taking my parents on vacation forever and a day but somehow it never worked out. My parents are hard-working first generation immigrants and the idea of a vacation is a luxury that’s a bit out of reach. Last month, my siblings and I decided it’s time to take action! We made plans within one month and literally forced our parents to go with us. Big bonus was that my aunt, uncle, and cousin were also able to join us in sunny Hawaii. What can I say, the trip was a success, we had a fantabulous time and now there’s talks of another vacation later this year. Hmmm…I wonder if we can make them go with us a second time…

There’s one person who doesn’t need any convincing though, and that’s my 4 year-old niece! Milan had the BEST time and she’s been asking to go back…like…everyday. Now we can’t let her down, can we? 😉
